Project Overview

Project Overview

This Raleigh home relied on a handful of dated fixtures and floor lamps, leaving the main living areas dim and uneven. The homeowners wanted bright, layered lighting with dimmer control — without visible wiring or patch-heavy ceiling work.

We designed a 28-light recessed LED layout across the kitchen, living room, hallway, and bedrooms, cut clean openings, fished concealed wiring through the ceiling, and wired every zone to its own dimmer—delivering bright, even, controllable light. The installation was completed cleanly and passed final inspection.

Problem

Dim, uneven lighting from a few dated fixtures and lamp-dependent rooms.

Solution

28 recessed LED lights in a designed layout with dimmer control on every zone.

Result

Bright, even, energy-efficient lighting with a clean, modern ceiling.

1

Lighting Design & Layout

We walked each room with the homeowners, planned light placement and spacing for even coverage, confirmed joist locations and attic access, and defined the dimmer zones. The permit was coordinated before any cutting began.

Cutting, Wiring & Installation

Openings were cut with dust control, wiring was fished through the ceiling to each location, and all 28 LED housings and trims were installed. Every zone was wired to its own LED-compatible dimmer.
